Arriving at Gatwick Airport
The Covid-19 testing rules for entry into England vary depending on where you have been in the 10 days prior to your arrival. The rules also vary depending on whether you are vaccinated or not.
Fully vaccinated
If you are fully vaccinated and are arriving from a county not on the red list, you must: Book and pay for a Covid-19 PCR test before you travel to England. Take a Covid-19 PCR test after you arrive in England. You can take this test any time from the day you arrive (day 0) up to the end of day 2. If you’re in England for less than 2 days, you still need to book and pay for a day 2 Covid-19 PCR test. You must quarantine until you receive a negative test result, or until you leave England, whichever is sooner.
Not fully vaccinated or arriving from a red list country
If you are fully vaccinated and are arriving from a county not on the red list, you must: Book and pay for a Covid-19 PCR test before you travel to England. Take a Covid-19 test before day 2 and after day 8 of quarantine. Unfortunately, at the moment, the day 2 and day 8 PCR test package is not available at Gatwick Airport. You need to book this with a provider outside of the airport.
