You can get a Covid-19 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) or Rapid Antigen test at the majority of medical clinics in Portugal.
If you are entering Portugal by air or sea, you need to get a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to boarding your carrier. The rapid antigen test result should be carried out within 48 hours before boarding.
If you are entering Portugal by land, you need to get a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival. The rapid antigen test result should be carried out within 48 hours before arrival.
To book a Covid-19 PCR or Rapid Antigen test with Certyfly, you must have photo identification and the following details: Flight date, Flight time, Flight number, Email address, Mobile number and Passport number.
Children under the age of 12 do not need to take a Covid-19 test to enter Portugal.
Depending on the test selected, your Covid-19 PCR test results will be available by midnight on the same day or the next day. Your Rapid Antigen test results will be available within 30 minutes.
