There are now hundreds of pharmacies and testing centres providing Covid-19 tests in most cities and large towns across France.

Travellers who do not have the EU health pass or proof of vaccination will need to take a Covid-19 test on all international and domestic flights in France.

Unvaccinated travellers will need to take a negative Covid-19 PCR or Antigen test within 72 hours of their flight.

Vaccinated travellers do not need to take a Covid-19 test to enter France but may need to take a test if the country they are travelling to requires one.

You will need to bring appointment confirmation and your passport.

Unvaccinated children aged 0–12 years will not need to take a Covid-19 test. Unvaccinated children aged over 12 years will need to take a pre-departure PCR test with a negative result.

You will receive your results for an antigen test on the day, often within 30 minutes of taking the test. PCR tests take longer, averaging 24–48 hours.
